At Total Veterinary Care®, we seek to fill our hospital teams with individuals who will uphold our core values of trustworthiness, professionalism, and quality care for the animals of our community. We think our team members are pretty amazing people, and we believe you will too when you hear their stories! We’ll be featuring a different employee every month on our blog to share with you about the amazing people we have caring for your furry companions.
Meet Shelly Caudill, a veterinary receptionist at our Grove City, Ohio location.
Shelly has a passion for both people and animals. In her daily interactions, she strives to cultivate a feeling of family with the pets and clients she encounters. This is her favorite part of working in the veterinary field—getting to know clients, sharing in their happiness, and empathizing with their losses. Everyone she meets holds a special place in her heart. She especially enjoys watching puppies grow, which she compares to watching her children and grandchildren grow. Shelly has worked in this field for the majority of her adult life and enjoys nearly every part of it; she can’t imagine doing anything else.
In her spare time, Shelly enjoys gardening, puzzles, playing board games with her son, and spending time with her grandchildren. She also dedicates time to the furry members of her family: Siberian Huskies Apollo, Seleni, and five month old Zirna (Zee for short), as well as Mau the cat (an honorary dog who gets along well with his Husky siblings). She graduated from St. Francis DeSales High School in 1986.
Her passion for both pets and people makes her a valuable member of the TVC family and has earned her the title of Team Member of the Month.
